The Abbreviated Dial Code (ADC) program makes downloading wireless content as easy as making a phone call. Consumers see the call to action, for example TV commercial, dial an abbreviated number like #BET, listen to the easy-to-follow voice prompts, and select the desired content which is then pushed to the phone.
The ADC Program enhances our partner’s brands by providing a richer environment than text messaging. The voices on the ADC's are typically famous and well known to the brands demographic and add personality and trustworthiness to the offering. BET and Univision currently use the ADC Program to deliver ringtones, live audio from concerts and specific campaigns featuring artist and events. In her keynote speech at this years CTIA, Debra Lee, CEO of BET said, “When BET Mobile debuted a # BET function that lets consumers download ringtones by just dialing # BET and following the voice prompts, the company’s ringtone download sales doubled overnight” The success of the ADC Program has made it a core piece of each brands strategy to reach mobile subscribers and truly complements their Web, WAP and SMS campaigns.
